I found out about a really cool feature the other day when I was over at my mom’s house as was several of my siblings and their kids. My brother’s son was playing his Nintendo DS Lite and was telling me that he was playing this kid a puzzle game who was all the way over in China. I was in disbelief at first, because my nephew is all the way across the planet over here in Phoenix, Arizona. I learned that the Nintendo DS Lite consoles actually have a built in wireless card that connects to the world wide free Nintendo gaming network, which allows you to play video games with other gamers who have the same live enabled games on your Nintendo DS Lite, no matter where in the world they are. I thought that this was a pretty cool feature to have, especially on a game console. And to boot, one that is as compact as the Nintendo DS Lite console is. It just goes to show you how far technology has really come in the past ten years when you can play online on a tiny little Nintendo DS Lite with other gamers from all the way across the globe!
