nintendo ds liteI and my husband are taking care of his three grandchildren Alisha, Rick and Dominic. I am very pleased that each of the three children has their own Nintendo DS Lite. I think the fact that they each have a Nintendo DS Lite has made my world quieter and far more peaceful than it would otherwise be. That is because I use my head and remind the kids to bring their Nintendo DS Lite systems with them if we are going to be in a situation in which the probability of them getting bored is high. For instance I will have them bring their Nintendo DS Lite game consoles along with them if we have an appointment with the dentist, doctor or optician. They will also bring their game consoles with them if we are going to visit relatives that do not have any children for them to play with. Road trips are another situation in which I insist that the children bring their Nintendo DS Lite systems along. I will certainly make sure they bring them along when we visit the Florida Keys in June because we have a two hour drive from the airport to the condominium we are staying in.  It’s a good way of stopping bored misbehavior before it has a chance to start.
